Rob is a Civil Engineer and Project/Construction manager with a background in Coastal and Structural Engineering, Subdivision design and Construction Management.


Growing up on a farm in Southland, living in Fiordland and as a keen trail runner, Rob has an extensive knowledge and passion for tracks and trails around the country. Currently Rob is living in Queenstown working mainly on Civil land development projects. He has worked on the design and construction of Coastal structures from buildings and boardwalks, armouring and beach replenishment, surveying and geotechnical testing. Rob was in the residential building industry for 10 years prior to studying Structural Engineering giving him an edge on knowing how things work, use of materials and construction processes which has been invaluable for design and delivery of a wide range of projects.


Advanced in 12d (3d design and modeling software) and Autocad, Rob is able to create functioning models and visually walk clients through each aspect of a project. Rob has much experience with and is able to model and report on all aspects of Stormwater systems including piped networks, LID methods, treatment facilities, pump stations and more.

Rob has a broad knowledge of current time and cost-saving products in the market due to his building background, relationships with product suppliers, and commitment to attending market seminars. Rob also incorporates Drone use including video footage into reporting and delivery. He is committed to ongoing training and personal development to continuously improve the skills he brings to projects he works on.
