In 2014 AR & Associates Ltd (ARAL) was engaged by Transpower New Zealand to provide planning and policy advice in respect of the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan. Transpower have a significant interest in the provisions of the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan, the ARAL Planning Team has been heavily involved with this work as planning experts on behalf of Transpower New Zealand. This work has included the provision of planning advice and preparation and presentation of evidence on a wide range of topics.

In total, our Planning Team has been responsible for the preparation of approximately 18 briefs of planning evidence (primary and rebuttal), and appearance at 11 hearings. ARAL continues to provide planning advice to Transpower New Zealand in this capacity.
