Senior Engineering Opportunity in Auckland

We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in the feasibility planning, design, management, tendering and contract administration of land development and civil infrastructure projects. Reporting to our Technical Director – Engineering and Surveying, this role is based in either our Takapuna or Takanini offices (with the flexibility to work out of both) and would suit someone who can work independently but in close co-operation with our team of engineers, planners and surveyors.

The role requires sound interpersonal skills which will be a critical factor in mentoring our younger engineers to achieve effective project delivery. Responsibilities include engineering design and management of a range of public and private sector projects, including liaison and relationship management with a diverse range of stakeholders including staff, clients, contractors, specialists and council staff.

The role is part of a wider tight-knit team that also includes Wellington, Queenstown and Tauranga based staff, so the successful candidate will have opportunities to get involved in a range of nationwide projects. The role would also allow you to shape the destiny of your professional and business career.

AR & Associates’ Directors are in the process of increasing employee ownership in the business through a series of share option offers made to staff over the next 5 years. This role therefore comes with an opportunity to participate in the equity of the company after completing one year in employment, subject to achieving mutually agreed KPI’s.
