Jack's Point Village

Jack's Point is a 1200-hectare (3000 acre) settlement, set on the shores of Lake Wakatipu at the foot of the Remarkables mountain range, 15 minutes from Queenstown, New Zealand. The Jack's Point development to date, comprises predominately of residential clusters located to the west of SH6. Jacks Point will ultimately feature over 1300 residential homes, a lakeside village with accommodation, restaurants and shops, alongside its golf course, and over 35 kilometres of hiking, biking and equestrian trails.

Since 2016, AR and Associates (ARAL) have been working with Darby Partners to develop the heart of Jacks Point, being the Village. Jacks Point Village compromises of a mixed-use area ranging from residential, industrial, commercial, and visitor accommodation, established around the existing manmade Lake Tewa.

As the lead engineering consultant, ARAL has designed all the civil infrastructure associated with the Village precinct to service the superlots within. ARAL’s scope of services is all-inclusive of earthworks roading, 3 waters design and utilities.

More specifically ARAL has undertaken the following works associated with the Village:

-          Jacks Point Village Pump Station and Rising Main design

-          Coneburn Water Reservoir Design and Network Modelling

-          Lake Tewa Stormwater Conveyance Channel Modelling

-          Low Impact Design for Stormwater Runoff within the Village

-          Global Earthworks modelling over all development sites

Following the work ARAL has undertaken at the Village, we are involved in additional development areas in and around Jacks Point that have come online for further development.
